Signing of MOU Between Universitas Putera Batam with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia

Friday, January 13, 2023, an MoU was signed between Universitas Putera Batam
and Tun Hussein Onn University Malaysia. The signing of the MoU was attended by
Dr. Nur Elfi Husda, S.Kom., M.SI. as Chancellor of Universitas Putera Batam,
Dr. Karol Teovani Lodan, S.AP., M.AP. as Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs,
Welly Sugianto, S.T., M.M. as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Computers,
Dr. Michael Jibrael Rorong, S.T., M.Ikom. as Dean of the Faculty of Social and
Humanities and Head of Study Program from Universitas Putera Batam.
Representatives from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia were represented by
Assoc. Prof. Ts Dr Omar Mohd Faizan Bin Marwah as Head of the Department of
Manufacturing Engineering of the Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing
Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zulafif Bin Rahim as Managing Director
Aviation Technology Expert, Dr. Siti Juita Mastura Binti Mohd Saleh from the
Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Ts Dr Elmy
Johana Binti Mohamad as Head of Department Corporate Communication from Faculty
of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mohamad Shafiq bin Abdullah, Wan
Akashah bin Wan Jamaludin, Nur Arfaeza binti Mohd Zin from Avitex Solutions
(M) Sdn Bhd, Universiti Tun Hussien Onn Malaysia.
The signing of this
MoU is a form of commitment between Universitas Putera Batam and Universiti Tun
Hussein Onn Malaysia to enhance cooperation in the fields of Education,
Research and Community Service. Universitas Putera Batam hopes that this
collaboration can be carried out in a sustainable manner to achieve the vision
and mission of the two institutions. This hope is followed by the preparation
of an agenda of activities to be carried out in the future. Several planned
agendas include visiting lecturers, student mobility for doctoral programmes,
international student exchanges, external examiner exchange, publications and
research collaborations, seminars and calls for papers and other forms of
