Job Summary:
We are
looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Supervisor to join our
finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the
monthly closing of bank accounts, managing payments, and ensuring accurate
reconciliation of accounts receivable (AR) and Simodis reporting. This role
will also involve reviewing audit reports and worksheets related to AR and bank
activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly closing processes for bank accounts and perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and process payments in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile accounts receivable (AR) and prepare Simodis reporting to provide accurate financial insights.
- Review audit reports and worksheets for AR and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on accounts supervision.
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes and accounts receivable management.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
